Um Krebs und andere weit verbreitete Erkrankungen auf Bevölkerungsebene zu reduzieren, werden individuelle Präventionsmaßnahmen in der Gesundheitsversorgung empfohlen.
Mit der Studie PAL werden folgende Ziele verfolgt:
Stichprobe: Systematisch rekrutierte Krankenhauspatient*innen verschiedener Fachabteilungen (Innere Medizin, Chirurgie, Unfallchirurgie, Hals-Nasen-Ohren) der Universitätsmedizin Greifswald, unabhängig von ihrem Aufenthaltsgrund.
